In 1984, sisters Faye Goebel and Joyce Hassler founded Hasgoe Cleaning Systems, combining the first syllable of their last names for the company’s moniker. They started the small janitorial service, cleaning businesses for people they knew just to put food on the table for their large families. Faye’s son Matt Goebel (1 of 12 children) started “officially” working at Hasgoe in 1993 and purchased the company in 2009. Since then Hasgoe has become well known for water and fire damage restoration cleaning services in Evansville and the surrounding area.

Since Goebel took ownership, Hasgoe has acquired an Owensboro based janitorial company, a second facility with storage units, and a hefty amount of fleet & drying equipment- just to mention a few. The family owned and operated business has continued to grow throughout the years, expanding into the residential, commercial and industrial markets. In 35 years, Hasgoe has grown from a small janitorial service into a full service environmental and restoration company performing daily maintenance, renovation and restoration services.
